So it seems that the country is heading for a second national lockdown from Thursday 5th November, although they are saying that this one may only be until 2nd December.
I have come home as I am working from home until Wednesday and hopefully, if work says that we can all work from home, then it will give me a good month at home with everyone.
I showed Nani the house yesterday when they all came to pick me up. She really liked it, and the house is coming along now that we have put down some new flooring and a window in the bathroom. You would really like how it is starting to look.
Talk of bathrooms, when I came home yesterday and I was looking for the electric toothbrush so that I could use it before going to bed, I had looked in Mum and Dad’s room but eventually, after going downstairs, got told it was in Shreena’s room. After coming back upstairs I saw that the light in Mum’s and Dad’s room was still on, so I turned it off, and there was the beam of light from the bathroom and I was waiting for you to yell and go “Oi! I’m in here.” Like you do when I have done it before. I really really missed not hearing that from you, and I really really miss you.
What is hopefully making things slightly easier for me, is that I am glad that with how nasty the virus is getting, that you do not have to deal with any of it, and that you are safe and well. Please keep looking after yourself and those around you.
Rishika and I have also ordered our sofas for the house. We ordered them from Sofology, and they are two grey leather electric power recliners, although we will not get them until around March next year. I hope when we eventually get them, that you will really really like them. You are more than welcome to use them and put your feet up in front of the tv (when we eventually get it), and be a real TV Queen.
