Hey, Reems! How are you? I hope you’re doing okay and keeping safe.
Sorry I’ve not spoken to you in a while, things have been very busy with work and seeing various families after the wedding.
So first off, a thermomix update, we had an issue with our thermomix so we had to send it to be repaired, which took about a week and meant that we ended up ordering takeaway instead to tie us over.
Since getting it back we have been using it a lot this week. We have made: Butterbean and feta burgers; Vegetarian chilli; Chickpea and tomato rogan Josh and also Mushroom risotto (that I cooked by myself when Rish’s parents and grandma came over for dinner on Thursday evening).
Yesterday evening we met up with the cousins, as well as Sunil and Paril for dinner at Brother Marcus at Spitalfields in Whitechapel. I still think they should have renamed it to Sister Reema instead. The food was good and you would have really enjoyed it, even if Rish and I had to leave early to get the train back. You were definitely there, as whilst we were eating, the grill form the heater fell down onto our table, so they gave a free bottle of Prosecco as an apology. I know you must have told them to do it or they must have known how much you love your Prosecco, so I could definitely feel you there with us when we were all drinking that.
This afternoon / evening we are going to Guildford to see Rish’s family, but you will all be there too so it will be nice to see you. I am looking forward to it very much and even more the fact that I will get to see you for the next 3 weekends as well.
